5 centre backs - inc Gibson...has he done enough to earn a call up ?
Livermore, Vardy and Defoe I think abit fortunate to get in....but then not sure who i'd replace them with. Really is best of a bad bunch.....then you look at the u21's etc and hardly any of them are even getting regular football regardless of at what level

That's handy for Middlesborough (Southgate's old team) to have Gibson called up just before they sell him. Should push his value up.

Gibson has had a good season and been Boros best
A hell of a lot better than Smalling, Stones and Fat Phil Jones this season.

Every time I see a squad these days it makes me realise what an awful job the likes of hoddle, keegan, Sven, mclaren and cappello did with the players at their disposal
